The EDGES of Greenland (in the South, where Erik the Red landed) are and were green. When they found it, they naturally came to its SOUTHERN EDGE. One example is Central Park in New York has rock evidence of the glaciers that covered that area. But to these enviro folks it is a new thing with ice melting.
