You'd figure that as a Fish-man that he would be able to outswim some of these creatures, but no. He's the slowest character in the sea until you get Ox. Also, his equipment is mediocre. I sold his original weapon for 44 GP. So we level him up to Level 17 so he at least knows some more spells. This takes a while though. At this point in the game, Double Creon Xs can be your worst nightmare. That is why I deposit most of the battle earnings immediately.
