I wish they wouldn't have deleted this!! Scarecrow was ALWAYS my favorite! still is! I'm going to be Glinda in a production of The Wizard of Oz and our Scare crow is really good as well!

Wrong, dear. "The Wizard of Oz" was NOT the first color film. In fact, I just got done watching the 1937 version of "A Star is Born" --- a COLOR film which predates "Oz" by 2 years.

he was a very talented Dancer. We were watching hours of extra features in Drama class one day from The Wizard of Oz (I was the Lion in our production). When the Scarecrow begins to run backward, though, I thought he was going to crash through the painted background, which...would kinda explain why it was deleted, breaking the 4th wall...literally
