JosephCollins ::: Favorites 2007-10-16 01:48:29 Well, you have my full support! And should you perhaps need a MIDI remixer, I might be able to contribute... But given your music talent, you probably don't. XD __________________________________________________
VonRichter ::: Favorites 2007-10-15 17:10:00 Of course it's a sequel... I played each game in the entire Metroid series in the week they were released. ;-) I'm just saying, SM is spiritually a M1 expansion. Bigger, badder, better. And this project is similarly a M2 expansion: SR388, except bigger, badder, better. __________________________________________________
JosephCollins ::: Favorites 2007-10-15 16:26:32 Super Metroid was actually the sequel to Metroid II... Sure, you got to revisit old areas such as Brinstar in Super Metroid, but it was essentially... ... *thinks about this for a moment* ...huh. You've got me there. Except for Old Tourian, the returning areas from the original Metroid are essentially the same, albeit expanded upon. Kind of like Zero Mission, but progressing the story. __________________________________________________
VonRichter ::: Favorites 2007-10-15 05:13:47 This originally WAS a remake of M2, now it's a sequel to M2, much like how SM is an amped up version of M1. __________________________________________________
JosephCollins ::: Favorites 2007-10-15 04:54:08 Hm... Ya know what I'd actually PAY to see? A remake of Metroid II. I recently watched a tool-assisted speedrun of that game, then one of Metroid Zero Mission, then I got to thinking how absolutely freakin' sweet a remake of Metroid II could be. Add a little more non-linearity and maybe explain where the Phazon Suit went and we're all set! __________________________________________________
Dmramex ::: Favorites 2007-07-15 21:22:36 You make video games too? Sweet. __________________________________________________
edenmaze ::: Favorites 2007-07-01 19:04:55 Trippy.. 5 STARS! __________________________________________________
mooseproduce ::: Favorites 2007-07-01 17:18:17 I thought everybody knew about Hypercam 2. :D And upon closer inspection, what I was talking about isn't going on, so never mind. __________________________________________________
VonRichter ::: Favorites 2007-07-01 16:50:11 Also, the spread of particles is a random 360', so it did happen by pure chance that the bombs that went off while rolling left had a different distribution. __________________________________________________
VonRichter ::: Favorites 2007-07-01 16:48:48 Just an illusion from filming a screen with a camera using an SD card at 15fps. The particles are absolute with no connection to the camera. If you know of a freeware prog that can record directly from the screen, link me up. The particles DO interact somewhat with objects, including Samus, but that basically just disperses them a bit and increases their chance of popping. __________________________________________________
mooseproduce ::: Favorites 2007-07-01 15:48:44 :| Um, did I just notice camera movement affecting the direction of the bubble particles? When you were moving left, they seemed to all lean towards the left more. That said, the particles look amazing. __________________________________________________ |
