iislandhunny69 ::: Favorites 2007-08-16 05:35:21 i jus bought this pure pigment shadow stick, because i cant afford mac products..do you think you'll get the same results as mac pigment eye shadows? __________________________________________________
panacea81 ::: Favorites 2007-07-28 19:48:59 Thats the spirit! Good for you. I dont like wearing neutral colours all the time. Its good to have some creativity when applying make up colours. Its what makes us different. __________________________________________________
ghdz1984 ::: Favorites 2007-07-28 01:40:39 You know what, after I wrote that I found a yellow shirt in my closet and did the lemon lime color scheme I saw on another tutorial I'm subscribed to, it didnt look anything like hers but I still went to work like that! :P __________________________________________________
panacea81 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 16:16:07 It is a completely personal preference. You can match your eye colours to your outfit for a special occasion, I usualy just wear what ever colour I fancy wearing regardless of which outfit. It is fun to experiment.. You should go for the oranges, yellows and greens, If you dont like the result you can always take it all off again. __________________________________________________
ghdz1984 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 14:37:34 I have a question... does your eyeshadow have to match the clothes you are wearing? Is it a personal preference? Do you match yours? I'd like to try some funky bright colors [yellow/orange/green] but I don't wear too much of it in my clothes.. Thanks! =) __________________________________________________
ghdz1984 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 14:37:27 Thanks a lot! I did learn this from watchin a tutorial, I tried the Rainbow look and the colors I bought from [Max Factor] weren't cheap yet they wouldn't go on well and I'm very light complected, after applying a base the color improved immediately! __________________________________________________
panacea81 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 08:35:13 A good tip for using ANY brand eye shadow. Prime your eye lids first with either your favourite brand eye primer or vaseline works just as well. You will see the colour of your eye shadow improve in seconds. Depending on which look you are trying to acheive. Wet always makes more vibrant colours than if applied dry. __________________________________________________
ghdz1984 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 06:05:52 I assumed you were going for the whole metallic matching thing. I've yet to spend any money on MAC products just yet. I'm starting out with drug store make up and once I feel I have the hang of it [with the help of yours and many other tutorials] I'll branch out to the more expensive 'better quality' makeup.. =) __________________________________________________
panacea81 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 05:55:30 Hi, Thanks for your comment & subscribing. I agree with you about the lipstick, Its too dark and metalic for most. Its MAC erotica... Dont waste your money on it..lol __________________________________________________
ghdz1984 ::: Favorites 2007-07-27 05:07:34 Wow I really like the finished product. THe colors really look great on you because of your eyecolor. I'm not too crazy bout your lipstick tho. Great job =) __________________________________________________ |
