Looks like he went over a bit of sand, the rear slipped for a second and then things snowballed. Very lucky he didn't do the big dive.

Another method may be to put softer shocks on the front to absorb some of the vibrations. Ask a bike engineer, or even a bike racer to determine the best solution for your bike.

Its just like an opera singer breaking a glass. Because there is nothing to dampen the oscillations, the system gains more and more energy. Like the wine glass failing, the rider is eventually thrown off the bike. To correct this, it may be possible to change the rake angle slightly, or to rebalance the wheel and brake system.

Its quite physically complex. As I understand it, the lower the rake angle, the more twitchy the bike is. You probably already knew that. However, if the wheel is out of balance, or brake pad wear is un-even and if the rider has throttled-off whilst making some sort of steering movement, the resonance that existed at the wheel system extends to the rider.
