There are a few clips of this spout (which by many accounts is HUGE for a waterspout) from different views on Youtube already. Well, here it is in action. See the ships closest to it on the left (in the foreground)? If there's anyone on them, their pants are getting fuller & language getting more foul as the clip progresses... Engulf85 ::: Favorites waterspouts are mostly not destructive, although on rare occasions can cause damage to boats and slight damages on ships. waterspouts are usually weak in its formation, and rarely crosses to land, and if it does, its a landspout. the tornado you're talkin about is a tornadic waterspout, which is caused by an already existing tornado formed on land but move on bodies of water, ie crossing rivers, lakes, etc. those are potentially dangerous and must be avoided. hope those clear sum things out. 07-08-29 13:52:58 __________________________________________________
