I think Cummings was on track. We don't need to give Syria any cookies, but we should at least have some sort of dialog going on. If there is some issue at the border, we can't just be like "hrm, that sucks, but we can't talk to em". It's retarded.

How stupid can you be? That Congresswoman is a complete idiot. I don't think she even knows the meaning of the word "compromise".

What a dumb whore. She had no business being on the show. She offered absolutely nothing and made no point after speaking for 3+ minutes. Fuckin' birdbrain. You people actually voted for her.

"No member of congress should be meeting with a state sponser of terrorism." Rep Marsha Blackburn (R). The week before Mrs. Pelosi went to Syria there were republican congress members there. Typical political double speak. Both sides are continually guilty of this. When are politicians AND pundits going to stop putting the party line first and make the state of our country the priority?

North also dealt secretly with the radical Iranians in the Iran-Contra affair.

How many times have Republicans(also Dems to a lesser extent) BEEN sponsors of terrorism themselves--ala Ollie North, when Congress had blocked funding for the Contras, arming Iraq to attack Iran, arming al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, etc.? Our Congresspeople should be informed: they should speak to foreign leaders.
