The US intelligence community did believe that Saddam Hussein had deadly stocks of anthrax, of botulinium toxin, which is one of the most virulent poisons known to man. They were wrong but they did believe it. And how do we know Saddam was not determined to buy and build nukes before the US invaded as Pollock told Oprah? Why the sudden urgency to take him out? I think all the journalists then and even Bill Moyers now are missing the key point.
